1 – 7 Castlereagh Street, Sydney (Penthouse Development)

1 Castlereagh Street is a commercial development located in the heritage precinct of Sydney’s prestigious Macquarie Street.

The project involved activation of rooftop service levels resulting in additional floor space to accommodate executive commercial office levels. The proposal also included integrated fitout, resulting in open plan workspaces, boardroom, associated amenities and landscaped external terrace.

Group DLA were engaged as the appointed Accredited Certifier / Principal Certifying Authority (PCA), responsible for issue of Part 4A Construction and Occupation Certificates over a multi-staged program. Our involvement included the assessment of extensive Fire Engineered, Ergonomics and DDA Accessibility Performance Solutions, including consultation with relevant public authorities such as the Fire Rescue NSW (FRNSW) & City of Sydney Council.
